Margret McBride is a literary agent with the Margret McBride Literary Agency. She began a career that served her love of books in New York, working at Random House in New York. Her office was next door to the editor of the Doctor Seuss books. As postcards and missives from the author came to the editor, the editor would share them with her. In 1980, she was living in La Jolla, and opening her literary agency and having fun times with Ted and his wife Audrey.
