Biography
Elizabeth Copps is a literary agent with and the founder of Copps Literary Services. In the summer of 2010, Elizabeth Copps did what any starry-eyed word nerd would do: she used her savings to move from Florida to New York City with the goal of doing somethingÑanythingÑrelated to books.
When she was offered an internship with Maria Carvainis Agency, Inc., she discovered her passion for publishing. She is excited to build Copps Literary Services and her list of award-winning and eclectic clients from her current home of Denver, Colorado.
What Elizabeth is looking for: Elizabeth is drawn to fresh takes on timeless plots; stories that are thought provoking and discussion spurring. She loves complex characters who are brimming with personality and burst off the page. Who are irreverent and dark. Smart and sarcastic. Creative and wise.
She specializes in middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction in the following genres: contemporary with a literary bent, historical, horror, magical realism, thriller/mystery/suspense, book club, and women’s fiction. In nonfiction, she seeks platform-driven memoir and biography.

Biography
Dan Cramer is a literary agent with and the founder of Page Turner Literary. He says: “My love of reading started when I was young with The Chronicles of Narnia. I loved that I could escape into a world where magic and adventure existed. That love of books grew and has followed me into adulthood. Some of my best friends and greatest loves, through the years, have been fictional characters. They have inspired and motivated me in almost every facet of my life, from my first career as a Forensic Scientist with the FBI to owning and operating Page Turner Literary Agency.
While I love all books, my heart beats for childrenÕs literature for many reasons, but the main reason is childrenÕs literature is fearless. These books and their authors are not afraid to tackle tough topics, to celebrate diversity, or bring awareness to issues that others would turn their backs on. ChildrenÕs literature never ceases to surprise me with its fortitude.
I live in Burr Ridge, Illinois with my husband and two rescue dogs, Timmy and Zoe. When I’m not reading, I enjoy the outdoors, horror movies, and baking (and I’m definitely not imagining I’m on the Great British Bake Off… ok, I’m totally doing that.)
I have two undergraduate degrees from West Virginia University: Forensic and Investigative Sciences and Psychology. I have two graduate degrees from Benedictine University: MBA and MS Management and Organizational Behavior. Prior to starting my own agency, I was an Associate Literary Agent with Flannery Literary.”

Biography
Nicole Cunningham is a literary agent with The Book Group. She represents a range of fiction, nonfiction, and illustrators. She works with writers and artists who share a sense of wonder, curiosity, and tenderness about the world.
Nicole is looking to acquire literary, upmarket, and commercial fiction. SheÕs drawn to fiction thatÕs gorgeously written, immersive, smart, and voice-driven. She always falls in love at the level of the line first Ñ and keeps turning pages for a transporting plot and a one-of-a-kind voice. She also enjoys novels with a magical or softly speculative bent, and book club novels that speak to our current cultural moment with acuity. She wants to read stories that explore how messy and complicated being a human can be: from messy relationship/family dynamics to a messy internal conflict to a messy I-must-get-out-of-this-bind choice. Even better if it has a little heart (even a broken one!) and a sense of humor.
In the nonfiction space, Nicole wants to read fresh, surprising essay collections, cultural criticism, and well-researched, entertaining narrative nonfiction that has the bingeable quality of her favorite podcasts. She particularly enjoys work that explores topics like motherhood, internet culture, gender and sexuality, linguistics, and the natural world.
Nicole joined The Book Group in 2016. Prior to joining the agency, she worked as the Manager of Author Relations at a book discovery website and as an assistant in the publishing department of ICM Partners. She studied English and American Literature at New York University, with a minor in Gender and Sexuality studies. When sheÕs not reading, Nicole can be found social dancing, hiking with her husband and dog, and renovating her old home in the Finger Lakes. She splits her time between Brooklyn and Upstate NY.
