Biography
William Clark is a literary agent with Wm Clark Associates. William Clark is a native of Stuart, Virginia and was educated in the United States, France, and England. Moving to New York in 1992, he expected to write poems for the rest of his life, but worked at several agencies, including Virginia Barber Literary Agency and William Morris Agency, before founding the agency in 1999. He is a former director of the Association of American Literary Agents and founding director of its charitable arm, Literary Agents of Change; and a member of The Authors Guild. He is a longtime Buddhist practitioner, and currently serves on the Shambhala Board.
