Tia Mele is a literary agent with and the founder of Tia Rose Mele Literary. Starting in 2016, Tia worked with Talcott Notch Literary Agency as an intern, assistant, and Junior Agent. She graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in English and I completed my M.A. in English and Creative Writing in 2017. From 2016 to 2020, I worked as an intern, assistant, and eventually junior agent at a boutique Connecticut literary agency. Though the circumstances regarding my resignation from this agency disappointed many, I am hoping to prove myself as an ally to marginalized groups both publicly and privately.My experiences in publishing have strengthened my editing skills, and I hope to share these skills with authors in order to help boost their career towards their own publishing goals.
