Sylvie Carr is a literary agent with and the founder of The Carr Agency. Sylvie began her career in New York City with Fletcher & Company, where she worked with agency clients including Eric Ries, Chip and Dan Heath, Bob Sutton, Gretchen Rubin, Claire Shipman and Katty Kay, IDEO, and Ron Lieber.

A graduate of Stanford University, Sylvie lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and young daughters. Her most recent travels were to Olib, the small island in Croatia where her husbandÕs grandmother was born (population: 140), to hike Zion National Park, and to Vermont with her large and boisterous extended family.
