Matt Wagner
Biography
Matt Wagner is a literary agent with Fresh Books Literary Agency. Matt says: “I love working with fun and useful non-fiction and reference titles, as well as online training. I work personally with my clients toward their long-term goals.

Prior to founding Fresh Books, I was an agent with Waterside Productions 1989-2004, where I sold in excess of 1000 books to over 30 publishers, generating more than 25 million dollars in author revenue.
I hold a B.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from U.C. Santa Cruz, where I spent a year in the stacks at McHenry Library shelving (and perusing) books. I also studied playwriting and dramaturgy in the Professional Theatre Training Program at U.C. San Diego.”
