Biography
Margaret Riley King is a partner and literary agent with WME Books. Margaret is a partner and literary agent in WME’s global book division representing writers in all areas of fiction and nonfiction. She is looking for material that centers around compelling storytelling and emotional connection, drawn especially to anything with courageous characters, complex relationships, or a strong sense of place. She believes that the greatest books not only teach you something about yourself and the world around you, but make you think and feel deeply. She is deeply committed to growing, nurturing, and guiding literary careers long-term. Some of her clients include Glennon Doyle, Sue Monk Kidd, Jeannette Walls, Dani Shapiro, Chloe Benjamin, Austin Channing Brown, Sarah Pekkanen, Greer Hendricks, Jen Hatmaker, Lara Prescott, Ann Leary, Meg Waite Clayton, Laura Lynne Jackson and others.
