Laura Nolan
Biography
Laura Nolan is a literary agent with Aevitas Creative Management. She represents an eclectic list of New York Times bestselling investigative journalists, thought leaders, doctors, psychologists, musicians, and celebrities who inspire, entertain, educate and are striving to upend the culture. Her clients have won the Pulitzer Prize, a MacArthur “genius” grant, Oscar, Grammy, and Tony awards. They include Neil Patrick Harris, Ben Folds, Rhiannon Giddens, Wendell Pierce, Stephen “Steve-O” Glover, Allison Moorer, business leader Sabina Nawaz, esteemed doctors and psychologists Dr. Thomas Doherty, and Dr. Elizabeth Poynor, award-winning cultural and investigative journalists Scott Carney, Holly George-Warren, Alan Light and Josiah Hesse, among others. With fellow-senior partner, Jane von Mehren, Nolan represents National Public Radio for all book publishing, working closely with such established shows as NPR Music and Planet Money.
Nolan is seeking clients who are asking the “big” questions, exploring fascinating sub-cultures, and are paradigm-shifters in their fields, as well as performing artists who are successful in one medium but whose talents and passion translate into narrative.
Before joining Aevitas, Nolan was the head of book publishing division for Paradigm Talent Agency. She is based in New York.
