Laura Gross
Biography
Laura Gross is a literary agent with the Laura Gross Literary Agency. She says: “I have been a literary agent for over 25 years and am extremely lucky to love what I do. I’m also fortunate that I am able to represent a broad range of both fiction and non-fiction writers. I am particularly interested in history, politics, and current affairs, and also love beautifully written literary fiction and intelligent thrillers.
After completing a degree in Comparative Literature at Brown University, I began my publishing career as an assistant at two leading New York literary agencies. I then became the youngest editor at one of New York’s oldest publishing houses.
I grew up in London, where I worked for a prominent literary agent as well as for three Members of Parliament (which allowed me a fascinating view of the British government’s innards before security was tight).”
