Katie Bircher is a literary agent with and the founder of Sara Crowe Literary. She spent nine years as an editor and staff reviewer for The Horn Book’s publications and served as chair for the 2018 Boston Globe–Horn Book Award committee. She also has more than seven years of experience as an indie bookseller specializing in children’s and YA literature.

She can most often be found lost in a good book with a fluffy cat in her lap.
