Katherine Cowles
Biography
Katherine Cowles is a literary agent with and the founder of The Cowles Agency.Prior to becoming an independent agent, Katherine worked for twelve years at Doubleday and Simon and Schuster. Her experience began with contracts and moved to business affairs, marketing and acquisitions. Eventually this lead to her position as Associate Publisher and Vice President at Simon and Schuster where she was involved with numerous major titles, authors and brands.
Katherine graduated from Boston University and attended graduate school at New York University. She lives in New York.
