Judy Klein
Biography
Judy Klein is a literary agent with the Kleinworks Agency. Judy spent a dozen years with the prestigious publishing house Farrar, Straus & Giroux. During her tenure, she was a vice president of the company as well as the director of subsidiary rights, the director of paperback publishing and the director of audiobooks. She has also worked with St. Martin’s Press, iUniverse and Sterling Publishing.
Judy is a former editor in chief of The Literary Guild Book Club and also of the Booksonline Book Clubs. In addition to collaborating with authors and publishers, Judy works part-time as a bookseller and as an organizer for the annual Montana Festival of the Book. She also teaches classes on book publishing and she writes the occasional magazine article.
