She has acquired, edited or represented more than 50+ New York Times bestsellers, National and International bestselling authors including Isabel Allende, Samanta Schweblin, Rachael Ray, Sara Shepard, Lucinda Riley, Agustina Bazterrica, Javier Sierra, Laura Esquivel, Reyna Grande, Antonia Hylton, Ana Castillo, Justin Baldoni, Armando Lucas Correa and many others.

While at Simon and Schuster, Johanna acquired and edited #1 New York Times bestseller It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover, as well as all of her first 14 titles, including Slammed, Ugly Love, November 9 and others. She was also responsible for acquiring non-fiction category breakers such as The Courage to be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi and represented Madness by Antonia Hylton. Johanna is also considered an industry expert in books in translation, Latine and Spanish US market.
