Ethan Long is a literary agent with Tugeau 2. He was born to entertain and educate children. He started his career in 1991 illustrating kids content for Nickelodeon and Scholastic Book Fairs and textbooks for Harcourt, Houghton Mifflin, and many others. At Harcourt, he also worked as a Grade 3 Reading Designer where he directed artists and hired illustrators

Since the year 2000, Ethan has written and/or illustrated over 140 books including board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books and middle grade novels. Some of his more popular titles are Fright Club, Tickle the Duck, Chamelia and the New Kid in Class, One Drowsy Dragon, and Up, Tall and High, which won the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award.

In the animation world, Ethan is the creator of Tasty Time with ZeFronk, which aired on Playhouse Disney from 2008-2016 and Scribbles and Ink, currently an online interactive series on PBSKIDS.com that is based on his childrenÕs books by the same name.

He has been an instructor for every age level, as well as a mentor to students and aspiring artists, and loves cheering others on through the creative process. But even with all of EthanÕs successes, he feels he is just getting started. He feels that agenting is the perfect way to continue his passion for helping artists write their own stories and coach them through the fun, but challenging, publication process. When Ethan is not making books, you can find him being a homebody with his wife, Heather, and dog, Auggie. He also likes riding his bicycle or 160cc scooter along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, taking his daily three mile walk, whipping up a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies, or planning family time with his wife, Heather, and their three grown children.
