Eric Lupfer is a literary agent with Fletcher & Company/UTA. He joined UTA at the beginning of 2023 after 20 years at Fletcher & Company and WME. He works with a spirited group of influential and bestselling journalists, historians, and experts across numerous fields. It has been a thrill for him to represent and support the work of clients at the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Wired, Bloomberg, LA Times, Vice, Business Insider, and a host of other publications. In historical nonfiction, his clientsÕ work stretches from the ancient world to ours and illuminates not just the changes within human history but also the commonality. And the subject experts heÕs had the privilege to work with have blazed trails at the worldÕs leading academic institutions and government agencies. An army brat for much of his childhood, he is also particularly grateful for the opportunity to work with a number of military, intelligence, and national defense professionals.

Eric has a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Film Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Duke University. He has three children, who are gifts of perspective, inspiration, and joy.
