Jennifer Simpson is a literary agent with CAA/ICM. Based in the New York office, she focuses on domestic subsidiary rights, including audio, magazine and newspaper journalism, first serial rights, and podcasting.Simpson began her career at ICM Partners as an assistant in the Publishing department. She was promoted to Agent in 2021, where she handled domestic subsidiary rights, with an emphasis on audiobook, podcast, and first serial rights. She has negotiated and sold rights on behalf of prize-winning and bestselling authors and journalists. She recently joined CAA after living overseas, where she began building her list and cultivating her taste as a Literary Agent at Paper Literary.She graduated from Duke University and is also a graduate of Columbia UniversityÕs Publishing Course in Oxford.
