Biography
Caroline Eisenmann is a literary agent with the Frances Goldin Literary Agency. She joined the agency in 2017. She previously spent four years at ICM Partners building a list in literary and upmarket fiction and nonfiction. In fiction, Caroline is particularly drawn to novels that engage with social issues, stories about obsession, and work that centers around intimacy and its discontents. Her nonfiction interests include deeply reported narratives (especially those that take the reader into the heart of a subculture), literary memoir, cultural criticism, essay collections, and history and biography with a surprising point of view.
Her clients include Brandon Hobson, Kyle Chayka, Linda Rui Feng, Amanda Goldblatt, Peter Kispert, Kate Wagner, and James Gregor. Authors represented by Caroline have won the Pushcart Prize, received a NEA Writing grant, and appeared on the shortlist for the National Book Award in fiction.
