Beth Davey is a literary agent with Davey Literary & Media Management. Beth has spent over 25 years as a vice president and director of publicity and corporate communications at major houses such as Ballantine Books (six years), Little, Brown (13 years), and Rodale (two years). During the course of her career she worked with many distinguished authors such as David Sedaris, James Patterson, Rick Moody, Michael Connelly, Anita Shreve, Malcolm Gladwell, George Pelecanos, Seymour Hersh, George Stephanopoulos, Joy Bauer, Gary Vaynerchuk, Peter Greenberg, Renee Loux, L.L. Cool J, David Kidder, and Noah Oppenheim. Beth has excellent relationships with all the major media and works regularly with the top print, broadcast, and online media including 60 Minutes, Oprah, Today, NPR, USA Today, Huffington Post.com, Slate.com, to name a few. Beth works closely with her authors and publishers to provide the best media and marketing exposure to maximize a book’s potential. For two years she worked as a publicity consultant at Inkwell Management, a literary agency.
