Sarah Leonard
Biography
Sarah Leonard is a literary agent with the Serendipity Literary Agency. She is a Midwesterner with a BA in English whose pronouns are she/her/hers. She’s freakishly good at making pigeon noises and bakes a mean tiramisu (aka. sarahmisu). Along with working for Serendipity, she’s a freelance editor and a graduate of NYU’s Summer Publishing Institute. Through this program, she earned her internship at Foundry Literary + Media and has acquired numerous other opportunities across the literary landscape. She served as the Events and Social Media Manager at the Learned Owl Bookshop then went on to intern for Sourcebooks Publishing as well as Corvisiero Literary Agency. Currently, she is earning her master’s at the New School with a concentration in Writing for Children and Young Adults (yes, their mascot is a narwhal). Organizations she’s a member of include the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Authors Guild, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
