Nancy Stauffer Cahoon
Biography
Nancy Stauffer Cahoon is a literary agent with Nancy Stauffer Associates Literary Agency. Nancy began her career in book publishing in 1978, holding positions in the editorial, marketing, business, and subsidiary rights departments of The New York Times, McGraw-Hill, and Doubleday. Before founding Nancy Stauffer Associates in 1989, Mrs. Stauffer Cahoon held the position of Foreign and Performing Rights Director, Doubleday, and, later, Director, Subsidiary Rights, Doubleday, where she worked with a wide array of authors. She has lectured in book publishing at numerous writer’s conferences across the country and at UCLA and Radcliffe.
